OUR STORY
Sparkmatic was established in early 2021 by Julian Oosthuizen, bringing together decades of specialized experience in food production machinery. What started as a vision to provide exceptional maintenance services to Cape Town’s food industry has grown into a comprehensive machinery solutions provider.
Julian’s journey in the industry began in 1990, working hands-on with mild steel, stainless steel fabrication, and industrial electrical control systems. Over 30 years, he developed deep expertise in the unique requirements of food-grade equipment – understanding not just how machines work, but how they need to perform in demanding production environments.
Since our founding, we’ve built a reputation for reliability, technical excellence, and genuine customer care. In 2024, we expanded our offerings to include Anko food machinery, becoming an authorized distributor for the South African market. This partnership allows us to provide complete solutions – from world-class equipment sales to expert maintenance and repairs.
